Beautiful Environment and Good Onsen
The location of the hotel is breathtakingly beautiful with stunning views. The onsen facilities are excellent with good attention to detail. The traditional dinners are both enjoyable and delicious. We loved the decor of the hotel - it’s traditional and elegant. The staff are friendly and willing to help despite the language barrier.
The hotel is very secluded and it’s not easy to get around without a car. The staff don't speak much English and there is no information given about the hotel’s services or offerings upon check-in.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. My room was very comfortable and clean, with a great view of the surrounding mountains. The hotel facilities were top-notch, especially the private onsen in my room and the art museum on site. The staff were also very helpful, providing excellent information despite the language barrier.
Nothing, all was good.

Had a fantastic Christmas stay at a traditional Japanese inn in a beautiful hillside location. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making the whole experience so enjoyable. The outdoor spa was absolutely amazing and it was great to relax in the hot water while admiring the stunning mountain view. Also, the traditional-style dinners were absolutely delicious and a real experience to savor.
The hillside location is definitely a downside if you're carrying heavy luggage and not particularly fit. Also, finding restaurants within walking distance was a bit difficult, so it's recommended to ask the staff for recommendations or take a taxi. Despite these issues, it was still a great experience that I would highly recommend.
